  • The Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK)
    is the qualification established by the Chinese government and is useful to anyone interested in working or studying in China. This is an exam-based qualification.
  • Scottish Schools
    offer qualification for students through The Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA). The SQA has recently established a system for Chinese language qualification, for both Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese. SQA qualifications range from Access 3 to Higher and Advanced levels.
  • Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)
    also offer their own Chinese language qualifications in the form of Chinese language courses.
